how to maintain scroll position of the page after postback in asp.net using javascript

In this web programming tutorial we will learn that how we can maintain scroll position of the page when page is postback. although asp.net framework provides us MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback but it has been observed that it is not working in Firefox and Chrome browsers.
